The 2019 İstanbul Regional was the second official competition held by the Foundation at Ülker Spor ve Etkinlik Salonu on March 2-4, 2019.
The event hosted 35 teams from 4 countries – Poland, Switzerland, Brazil, and Turkey. Due to rapid team growth in the 2018-2019 season it was necessary to hold two back-to-back regionals in Turkey in 2019, this was the first of those two. With 80 teams in Turkey, and many foreign guests wishing to join the fun on the shores of the Marmara Sea with us, it became necessary to hold two events in 2019. We had a ton of fun, and wish to remind all who read this that these events were and all official FIRST Robotics Competition events are free and open to the public! You do not have to be related to the program at all to come visit. It’s a fun event to be seen by all! The event can be viewed for free online here
